Latest Updates from Our Project:
Spotlight on my co-creator!

I want to take some time and do something a little different in this update.
But first, thank you for supporting Savage Sasquanaut. Thank you so much.
Okay, so this update I want to share something that I was just turned on to for one of my co-creators, but not a Sasquanaut artist or creator.
This YouTube documentary was recently posted and spends an hour going over the journey of my Sky Sharks co-creator Fred Perry and is quite well done. Having been present for a substantial chunk of the time this video covers I am impressed how accurate it is considering it looks to be independently researched and put together. It's well done and helps celebrate a creator who is criminally underrated.
While the video is mostly chronicling the creation of Fred's animated movie, the one where he drew and animated hundreds of thousands of frames by himself, it also touches on his comic work and his history as a creator. All in all well done. If you are or aren't familiar with Fred its a fascinating watch. Its making me want to go back and reread Gold Digger.
And again, I cannot emphasize how important Fred is to me as a creator. When we did Sky Sharks together he really did teach me so much in addition to drawing it. Sharks was not my first comic I ever wrote, but it was definitely the most educational and helped me become the creator I am which led me to what Sasquanaut is today.
If you have an hour, check it out, it's pretty good.
And after you watch that, check out Gold Digger, a new Kickstarter campaign launched today for reprints. Also, I have the Sky Sharks Remastered issues Fred and I did available as add-ons on this campaign.
Only a few hours remain in this Kickstarter and it has passed it's goal, but there is still time to jump on board to get your copy of a 52-page standalone black & white magazine-format comic book horror anthology similar to CREEPY with stories inspired by H.G. Wells.
More Bigfoot action is never a bad thing. Cryptid Hacker Force is running now on Kickstarter. If you love Bigfoot you should check out this campaign from Allan Liska. I like this cover a lot!
Day 2, here's Stretch Goal idea, do you like it?

We have officially put day one of the issue 7 campaign behind us and I'm so happy you are here and have helped made this a great launch.
It might be a little early, but I thought I might share an idea I had for a stretch goal and you can tell me if you like it or not.
Currently, the book has 26 interior pages, so that means the printed copy will be 28 pages long because that's the way printers work. I had an idea about offering a stretch goal that will make the issue 32 pages long, and include a sketch gallery section of some designs for what is in store for issue 8. It isn't more story pages, but it is some cool content.
I like cards and stickers and stuff too, that may certainly be in the works, but I wanted to get your thoughts and interest on getting some additional back matter like that in the book? That includes digital copies receiving the extra pages as well.
I don't have that stretch goal amount set yet. I'm getting new quotes from the printer to see what it would cost to make that happen. But I also want to know if that's in your interest or not. Adding pages is certainly a more costly stretch goal, but if people want it we can try to make it happen and it's a stretch goal that every backer can benefit from, so let me know what you think.
Before I go, I want to share some friends Kickstarter campaigns that are currently running that I think you should check out.
First of all, if you've spent any time on my campaign page you know that I love me some connecting covers. And my dude Dillon and crew deliver on a set of covers that I really enjoy and want to show off.
Issue 4 has 32-pages of dark, humorous dead raising fun for all. Well maybe not tiny kids its a necromancer story, but definitely for the 12 and up crowd.
Hop on over to the Kickstarter page, there are several pages of art to see, plus links to preview the first 3 issues as well. This Kickstarter launched along with Sasquanaut and have rocketed forward and are already nearly half of their funding goal. Check it out, I think you will enjoy it!
Colin has been creating this series from right about when I first started releasing Savage Sasquanaut. It's so cool and such a milestone that he's managed to come to this point and reach the conclusion of his story.
And if you've never read his book, check it out
For $24, you get the complete story in digital format, 344 pages total!
That includes the 6-issue series, plus the prequel stories. That's a better value than you will receive from every major publisher, as well as indie creator. Whoa!
More later, my friends.

Thank you all so much for joining the campaign! Thanks to your support we have already reached 1/3 of the funding goal! That's rad!
Before I ever launch a new Kickstarter, there's always that internal fear that maybe no one is going to show up. And since it's been longer than I'd hoped between issues, I admit that it was a bigger concern this time. So thank you for showing up on day one and helping to start it off strong.
There's still plenty of work to do to hit the funding goal, so please help spread the word about this campaign on all social media platforms and comic loving friend and family.
